Model 611-031 pictured here features a Kieninger cable-driven, triple-melody, nine-tubular chime movement and features 36 bushings (24 bronze and 12 jeweled) and an automatic nightime chime shut-off option. This elegant floor clock, designed by Chris Bergelin features sixteen different species of hardwoods and veneers. These are Cherry, Crotch Figured Mahogany, Russian Walnut Burl, Movingue, Maple, Ebony, Padauk, Silver Gum, Black Cherry,
Magnolia, Beech, Avodire, Anegre, Pearwood, English Sycamore, and Boxwood. Some of these species are very rare.
The beautiful swan neck pediment is crowned with three carved finials, two carved rosettes, and a carved finial shell at the center. Also on the pediment are bookmatched Russian Walnut Burl with floral inlays framed with a Movingue border with
Ebony and Maple accent lines. The floral inlays include the species listed above.
The ornate polished brass, Roman numeral dial features custom cast corners, center, and moon arch ornaments unique to this clock. The cast center disk is numbered and features a removable engraving plate for personal inscriptions. "Limited
Edition" is inscribed across the hemispheres. The dial also includes a special brass finished moon phase.
The decorative polished brass lyre pendulum features a cast center disk with a spun silver background. Complementing polished brass finished weight shells are embellished with decorative bands with a silver-tone background.
The grand bombe style base features carved moldings with a decorative cut-out framed with carved floral motifs.
Bookmatched Russian Walnut Burl with floral inlays framed with a Movingue border with Ebony and Maple accent lines on the front and sides. The floral inlays include the rare wood species listed above.
Beveled glass on all front and side glass. Top side doors allow access to the movement and storage of the hand crank and key.
The impressive upper and lower columns feature large reeds with carved acanthus accent moldings between and intricately carved acanthus top and bottom column caps.
A delicate carved molding graces the panel between the upper and lower doors. The upper and lower doors feature crotch figured mahogany with complementing marquetry of Maple, Ebony, Padauk, and Pearwood.

Howard Miller Chiming The J. H. Miller Limited Edition Grandfather Clock 		This grand Presidential floor clock has many outstanding features. The swan neck pediment displays bookmatched crotch figured veneers framed with a V-matched movingue border. The pediment is further enhanced with three turned urn finials, carved rosettes, and an inlaid keystone with the "Prince of Wales" motif using maple, padauk, amaranth, and ebony veneers on a madrona burl background.
The elaborate dial features raised brass Arabic numerals, cast center and corner ornaments, and a moon phase with exclusive Presidential Collection hemispheres.
The polished brass pendulum has a cast center disk which complements the dial. In addition, the polished brass finished weight shells feature decorative bands.
The front door offers beveled glass. Top side doors have beveled glass and offer access to the movement and storage of the hand crank and door key.
Four impressive columns feature large reeds and boldly carved caps that frame the distinctive door and adjoin the pediment to the base.
The multi-tiered "bombe" base features canted corners with a carved molding that wraps around the entire base. A decorative cut-out completes the base.

This Victorian style floor clock with a satin Windsor Cherry finish offers elegant details. An ornate pediment features bookmatched olive ash veneer crowned with a carved shell and leaf motif with two turned urn finials.
The polished brass dial features a crystal cut glass center disk with polished brass, cast corner spandrels. The circular spun, silver colored chapter ring has applied brass Arabic numerals. The astrological blue moon dial includes pierced stars that are back lit.
The polished brass lyre pendulum features a crystal cut center disk which complements the dial.
The back is mirrored and the case is illuminated not by one lamp, but by two lamps. One lamp is located in the top to illuminate the stars and crystal cut center of the dial and the other lamp is located in the base to light the pendulum and polished brass weight shells. Frosted glass located in the base softens the glow of the light.
The bottom door glass is serpentine shaped to match the shape of the door.
Sculpted columns feature upper and lower carvings with complementing leaf patterns.
The shapely, multi-tiered base features carvings on the corners framing the book matched olive ash burl veneer and a complementing shell and leaf overlay.
The beveled top side glass panels are removable, which allows access to the movement.

Mirroring the dial, the lyre pendulum is finished in brushed antique brass with a decorative antique gold-finished center disk.
The brushed satin finish and decorative bands of the weight shells also complement the dial.

The dial includes black Roman numerals with black hour, minute, and second hands.
The “neck” is framed by two carvings with a delicate leaf design.
The polished brass lyre pendulum and weight shells are visible behind the arched glass beveled door. This door is made with complementing slip matched figured crotch veneers.
Bookmatched figured crotch veneers are used in the inset panel on the tall base, which includes a decorative shell and leaf overlay and a carved gadroon design molding that wraps around the base.

Antiqued dial features worn black Arabic numerals and minute and sweep seconds tracks. The corners are antique golden brown with a complementing moon arch. Spade hands are finished in black. The rotating moon disk features artwork by American Hudson River School artist, Thomas Cole: “The Hunter's Return – 1845” and “Home in the Woods – 1847.”
The brushed nickel grid pendulum includes a wood insert that is finished in Worn Black and coordinate with the brushed nickel weight shells.
